This is my final for the "Warm and Fuzzy" Blog and I call it "Fuzzy Friends". It took awhile to settle on my subject, but my dogs were a perfect fit. These two, Dulciana and Nessie, I consider my "Best K9 Friends Forever." They were/are always ready for a warm cuddle and of course they are furry. I knew I wanted to have there picture under the bubble so I took images of them, and worked them in PhotoShop till they fit together and were sized right. I also wanted to color the brass cuff, I had to scuff it up for the paint to stick(and I watched a lot of bsueboutiques's Channel, I just dabbed on a green pearl acrylic paint and liked it, it reminded my of grass. After much "hemming-and hawing" and testing on the inside of the cuff I painted the bezel red/black and spots of yellow. I also wanted to put "fur" under the backside of the cuff, so I got a piece large enough to "test" with. I ended up using a brown art marker to color the white fur. I had a hard time getting the fur on the back of the cuff so I smeared the back in E-6000 to give it firmness yet stay flexible. I then added "paw" prints, that I found in scrap booking supplies, walking across the cuff.
I used; fake fur, art marker, acrylic paint, stick-on paw prints and the cuff kit form Bsueboutiques. This was a big stretch for my creativity and I am happy with the out come.
